PARTY AT MY HOUSE, WEDNESDAY NIGHT TO THURSDAY

Yup, that's right. CBCGH is having a send off party for its seniors, including yours truly. Next wednesday night, the 24th of August, we're having a camp out in my yard. I think that's how it's going to work. In tents or something. Then on thursday morning, we're going bowling at around 10 am, sleep or no sleep, at Silver Lanes in East Hartford. Then we're doing.... something. In any case, we plan to end it at 5:30 pm thursday, after which you are then invited, courtesy of Jess, to go to a softball practice (if I'm not mistaken).

So show up after dinner on wednesday, with a change of clothes, sleeping bag, tent if you have it, and a flashlight. And some chips or drink or w/e. And some money. And your car. And maybe your swimming suit.

I'll be away in lake george for the next three days, will be back tuesday night. So if you want to come, or have any questions, please call my cell (646) 236-8199. Or just wait till I come back and read your comment, or your im.

***Edit***

Everybody and anybody is (are?) welcome. I mean, as long as you can prove I know you.

One more thing. If you need a ride, please talk to anybody who has a car.

Legal drivers: Robin (duh), Kalen (she's 18). [Maybe Jeff? Wanta come? And oh yeah, Dan Suwatch, who may or may not be home]

Unfortunately, Robin has orientation, for something, school I think. Not sure of Kalen. That leaves...

'Legal' drivers: Travis, Aaron, myself.

Please contact one of these people, and preferably ahead of time. Like, say, 30 min. Okay, I mean a few days. Try the legal ones first. And personally, I have nothing to do all wednesday, so I can go anywhere.

Come at around 7-8 pm. Tell me if you have a tent!

Man, I haven't posted in a while. It's kinda hard to post everyday, or even every week, because it got boring after a while. Well see, now, I have something to actually blog about.

Prom! Yay!

Loomis prom, at UHart. Actually, it was held in the old room where I competed in math counts back in middle school, where I said '2' instead of '1' which cost me 1st place, but that's a story for another day.

Me, at home. My mom insisted this picture be taken.

At Casey's (in dark purplish blue dress on left) house. We all met there.

My friends Liz and Adam, whom we'd rather call Levin. There were like 10 million different cameras from the parents, so they didn't know where to look.

Lilita and Spencer. A little better eye-camera coordination here.

Steph and Ryan. Unlike the other couples, they're an actual couple.

And my dad seems to have missed all the other pictures of the couples, so I'm going to skip ahead to...

Jae and me

Everybody on the stairs, or near the stairs, or w/e. Man, red eye is hard to fix. But from left to right, first row, it's me, Jae, Kate (in pink dress), her date Matt standing just behind her to the right, Lilita, and her date Spencer

Farther up, it's Brendon, and his date Ashling, who's actually standing in front of him to the right, Adam, his date Liz.

Then right above Liz is Bryan, and his date Casey to the right. To the back and right of Casey is Shelly, and her date Jeff right behind Casey. Finally, it's Steph and Ryan up in the corner.

Another group shot. I think this one is better than the one above. By this time we're all blind from the pictures being shot by 12+ parents. Retnal burn...mmmm.

okay, final pic.

Outside, right before we jumped into the limo.

She's got some pics during prom, but I haven't gotten them from her yet. It was fun, the limo ride was hilarious because we kept playing around with the controls even though we had no idea what they did. There was this flask of cherry coke left over from some earlier party, so we drank some of that. As we passed bloomfield, somebody suggested lowering the window and calling everybody a plebe, at which point we all decided that would be suicide.

Mandatory after prom party, of which I have no pictures either. Techno foam was fun, except when you swallowed it, which inhaled vigorously. Then, was being really tired, went swimming, and had some blind folded magician somehow read a piece of paper on which I had inscribed my birthdate and my nickname.

Feeling a bit sick today after the robotics competition, in which our team came 28/35, which kinda sucked, and then didn't get picked for the final rounds, which really sucked. So I came home early, and tried to get some sleep before my mom pulled me up then left me to watch Minority Report, which was a cool movie.

Yesterday, we saw this magician do her act, and some of her stuff was really cool, like turning these large cards from King of Clubs to Queen of Hearts. I remember once on tv, this guy moved an entire island off the coast of somewhere, right in front of the audience. It was sooo weird. The show was supposed to explain the illusion, but the guys who produced the show couldn't figure it out either.

Wisdom teeth coming out in I think 3 days. Then braces soon, maybe. Surgery in a year and a half, maybe?

My mom puts in the salad, along with the usual radioactive, poisonous, and generally deadly vegetables, chunks of cheese. So my Dad, after a while, points out that he doesn't like cheese. My mom arches and eyebrow at him, and tells him that if he doesn't like this kind of cheese, then name the brand he likes, and she'll buy it for him. He can't come up with a name, but states that the cheese on the pizza is the kind he likes. "Do you mean Mozerella?" I suggest (if that's even the one on pizza, may be not), and he says yes. So my mom brings over the cheese package and on it in bold letters it says

Mozerella.

Whee, I love my dad.

Dinner was great, cept I cooked it. I swear I had it under control until my mom started a fire in the mircowave. So I left the steaks in too long, and, yeah, about that.

Hey, I finally got into college, Case Western here I come! woohoo!!

I'm also looking for a job over the summer, anybody got any ideas?
